This isn’t typical coaching. Many of my clients arrive to our initial consultation weary and frustrated, saying they have tried everything to no avail. My offerings for you will feel different. More expansive. More deeply healing. Here you will find a unique form of counseling that boldly encompasses genuine compassionate support, skillful therapeutic experience, and the invitation for healing through outside-the-box methods that will feel refreshing and transformative.

Here you will find a safe guiding space to move forward in your journey of cultivating optimal health and wellbeing. My goal for you, first and foremost, is to get un-stuck and free yourself from the stories you tell yourself that keep you from a radiant life. Thoughtful expression and insightful inner exploration will lead you to nurture and grow reliable qualities within yourself that propel you onward and upward in a lasting way. You will build a depth of resourcing within yourself to call upon for safety, balance, health, and strength both presently and in the future. The time is now to capture your most vibrant, inspired, alive life. It is my absolute privilege to help you.

In addition to my individual coaching sessions, I also offer professional consultation where we can discuss your interest in becoming a professional art therapist, or your questions related to authorship, writing, and developing a profession in the healing and creative arts. Consultation sessions can be scheduled as a one-time event, or in a sequence of sessions to best support your professional development.

  • Exploring women’s health and struggles specific to womanhood 

  • Healing wounds related to self-esteem, unhealthy habits, and maladaptive patterns

Here’s how coaching is different from psychotherapy: Coaching is a growth-oriented, wellness-centric perspective on healing and inner work. It takes into account your trauma, life challenges, relational barriers, limiting beliefs and patterns, and focuses on integrating them all as part of a growth process toward self-realization, inner-strength, authenticity, integrity, and powerful self-expression. 

Psychotherapy is focused on the medical and clinical perspective of mental illness and pathology, coaching is not. In order for a person to be a good fit for radiant life coaching, they must feel stable in their mental health to an extent where they are ready, willing, and able to engage deep-dive inner work. Coaching clients do not have an untreated mental illness and do not feel suicidal or emotionally unstable.

As your coach I am able to offer my work globally and across state lines, whereas licensed psychotherapists are limited to treating clients only in their state of licensure. Unaffiliated with the medical healthcare model, I cannot accept any forms of insurance.

I will hold and create space for you in a steadfast, committed way. That being said, I am not a magician, and this work is not an “easy button” that will eradicate your challenges without your participation. This work requires your commitment as well. It may be uncomfortable at times when you spend time with the patterns and dynamics that do not serve you. Discomfort is valuable growing soil for planting the seeds of the future self you long to be. Alongside discomfort will also be deep gratification and immense growth you will feel proud of. Please come to this work when you are truly ready to create change in your life from a space of genuine willingness to show up and dig in. AN INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (IFS) PARTS-WORK APPROACH TO HEALING

Every single person on this planet is composed of many parts. There may be a part of you that is hurting, an angry part, a sad part, a perfectionist part, and so on. Many of us use language like: “Part of me wants to go skydiving, but another part of me is afraid.” In this way, we already know Parts Work in a casual sense. Now I invite you to consciously use it in your inner work process. Deep within and expanding beyond your many parts exists a true self. This is where compassion, curiosity, clarity, creativity, connection, calm, confidence, and courage (the 8 C’s of IFS self-energy) exist in abundance. The powerful framework of IFS Parts Work invites you to use self-energy to befriend every part of you (even the ones that make you squirm!) and source information from them about your innermost needs. You will learn to see that there are no bad parts, and the goal is not to get rid of any part of you—simply to help them re-balance. Parts that bring you pain and discomfort are simply messengers with valuable information for you about where your inner system is imbalanced. Through guided imagery and somatic work, creativity, and thoughtful exploration I will teach you how Parts Work can help guide you to a place of freedom, health, and awareness in your life beyond anything you have ever known.

A NEUROSCIENCE APPROACH TO HEALING

Integrating a neuroscience approach to therapy is a hugely helpful aspect of this work. Modern science has uncovered inspiring discoveries about how our mood, health, and greater perspective of life can be deeply impacted and healed on a neurological level much more effectively than previously thought. The discovery of neuroplasticity (the brain's ability to adapt and change its structure) teaches us that we can change the way we are physically wired on a brain level, effectively re-shaping the way we engage in our world and feel in our bodies. How, you might be wondering? I am thrilled to bring you into this exciting healing science with various practices that include art, somatic experiencing, guided imagery work, mindfulness, and so much more. I will teach you how to gain greater authority of your brain and positively impact your life by integrating these impactful skills.

AN ARTful APPROACH TO HEALING

Georgia O’Keeffe once said, "I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - Things I had no words for." This is the beauty of Art Therapy. If you would like to weave creative expression into your therapy work, Art Therapy offers immeasurable healing benefits for people of all ages and abilities. No, you don’t need to have any prior experience with art to engage in Art Therapy. Creating art is a fundamental human ability, and the potential for creative expression lives within you too (whether you have dipped into it or not, I promise). Incorporating all kinds of artistic materials to engage emotional, psychological, spiritual, and behavioral experiences within a person can reveal and repair a great deal therapeutically. Both the active creative process of artmaking as well as the image itself can uncover important patterns, beliefs, and emotional reactions that a person may experience both consciously and unconsciously. A creative image can serve as a physical metaphor for someone who may not be willing or able to speak about their challenges. In this way, the art can speak for you by honoring your experience and reflecting back your powerful internal feelings, needs, and possibilities.
